Ranplan Group AB (publ) appoints new CFO

As part of the Company’s succession planning, the Board of Directors of Ranplan Group AB has resolved to appoint George Wells - the Group Chief Accountant since August 2018 - as CFO, effective 26 Feb 2020 at the latest. He takes over from John Watson who will support the handover of duties until after the release of the Annual Statement for calendar 2019.  

George Wells, who is a qualified Chartered Accountant, was recruited in August 2018 by Ranplan Group AB to assume the role of Group Chief Accountant. Since then he has gained critical insights into the Company’s operations, its subsidiaries, its accounting systems, and its external and internal financial reports. Following the transition period, George Wells – a full-time employee - will join the senior management team, succeeding John Watson, who, as a part-time contractor, has been responsible for the CFO office of the Group since 1 July 2019.
